EUFRA which means "With St.Francis on the road towards a new Europe" celebrated 30th anniversary of their gathering at Mignières, Chartres in France. 12 nations from Europe participated in this gathering from 24.07 - 02.08.07. They are all members of the Secular Franciscan Order. SFO General Minister Encarnacion del Pozo and I participated in this meeting from 26 - 28 July. The members created an atmosphere of joy, sharing, attitude of listening, recreation, singing and above all prayerful atmosphere. They are some spiritual assistants who animate them. Encarnacion and I have met the persons who are responsible for this meeting. We also visited the famous and beautiful Chartres Cathedral of Our Lady. It is an important pilgrimage centre and also a cultural, artistic and historical monument.
