The formation course for the Italian Spiritual Assistants of SFO
It was a great occasion for 4 General Spiritual Assistants to participate in the formation course of Italian Spiritual Assistants. The course is held in Assisi from 21-25 January 2008. It was a significant presence in the midst of more than 80 spiritual assistants. The first day on 22nd Fr.Samy Irudaya OFMCap spoke about “The contribution of the Assistant in the discernment and the accompaniment of SFO vocation.” Fr.Amando TOR spoke about “L’inserimento dell’OFS nella comunità ecclesiale e nella società civile”. Then we had questions and answers section in which many questions were clarified by the General spiritual assistants. We could see the interest among the spiritual assistants to help the secular Franciscan brothers and sisters. The National minister of SFO Italy Giuseppe Failla added flavour to this seminar by his presence.
